Serves 1 – this recipe is when you are in a rush – ideal to make directly into a thermos jug of flask.
Ingredients
1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) Golden Spice blend or 3/4 tsp (3.75 ml) Chai Spice blend
Splash of just boiled water to activate the spices
Dash of vanilla essence or vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
250ml preferred milk brand – very hot to aid the infusion (we like oat with a splash of coconut milk) – For Dairy see below
Preferred sweetener to taste – (we like a tiny drop of agave or maple syrup)
Method
Add Stay Golden spice to a mug or thermos with salt and vanilla. Add a splash of just boiled water and allow to steep for 30 seconds. Top with very hot milk and allow to infuse for a minute further.
Balance with preferred sweetener of choice.
Side Notes
For Dairy Users, it’s suggested to use half a cup boiling water and half a cup very hot milk to the recipe above.
