This smoothie is made with fresh orange, pineapple and banana blended with our gorgeous Golden Spice blend and coconut water, absolutely delicious and a great way to gain that daily turmeric dose.
Makes 1 smoothie
1 medium frozen banana – sliced
1 cup fresh pineapple – chopped
½ cup fresh orange juice
½ cup coconut water or filtered water
1 tbsp chia seeds – optional
¾ tsp Golden Spice blend
A couple ice cubes
Add all ingredients to a blender, blend on high till smooth.
Pour into desired glass or vessel, garnish and enjoy.
The coconut water is for added electrolytes, mouthfeel and overall flavour, but is not essential. If using filtered water, a suggestion of 1 tsp coconut oil or alternative healthy fat will aid absorption and mouthfeel.
