Peanut Butter Chai Spiced Overnight Oats

This is one of our favourite breakfast recipes –  serves 1

Ingredients

⅓ cup rolled oats
between ½ tsp Chai Spice blend for mild or 1 tsp Chai Spice blend for intense
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds (optional)
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
1 tbsp sunflower seeds (optional)
1 tbsp preferred nuts (optional)
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp peanut butter
between 2/3 of a cup to 1 cup preferred milk brand (we like oat or any nut milk)

Method

Lightly toast any nuts and seeds (except chia) first.

Add all your dry ingredients together in a sealable container or bowl, and mix to allow the spices to blend evenly.

Blend or mix the peanut butter and milk together, and add to your oats, stirring once more.

Ensure securely sealed and refrigerate till morning.

Serve with additional preferred milk if required.

Garnish with your favourite fruit, nuts or breakfast toppings.

Side Notes

Add 1 date, pitted and chopped, to your oats before soaking for a little sweetness.

The dry ingredients can be prepped in batches making it easy to have an amazing breakfast ready on hand.

Chai spice complements tropical fruit such as banana and pineapple, as well as orchard fruits such as apples, pears or peaches.

Swap out the peanut butter for any other nut or seed butter and change up the milks for unending amount of variations.
